3 Breweries on my Wish List

I have been beerfully drinking and wishfully thinking about taking some time off from work and heading to some local breweries lately. Sure, it’s nice to go to the store to pick out different beers to try, but I’ve got the itch to chase the elusive, limited edition golden suds of my backyard.

I have been talking to many people and getting recommendations of many good breweries, and I think I have finally narrowed it down to three that I really want to visit over the next month or so:

  1. Angry Chair Brewing – Tampa, FL
Just take a look at some of the brews on tap at this place: Moon Butter Milk Stout (with Chocolate and Peanut Butter), Strawberry Cream Berliner, AND the Cerebral Vortex Dry Hopped Gose (oh my GOSE). Yes, yes, and YASSSSSS. I don’t always like to drink chocolatey, creamy beers, but these sound way too good to pass up. I need to get my butt to Tampa ASAP.
  2. Brew Hub – Lakeland, FL
This is the home of some of my new favorite beers, so of course I need to go check out the scene of where they’re brewed. They have all different kinds of beers, from hefeweizen, to gose, to lager… I have also heard great things about this place and that they even have live music on the weekends. They have great reviews as well!
  3. Crooked Can Brewing Co. – Winter Garden, FL
This place also looks awesome. The beers look intriguing and the atmosphere and decor is right up my alley. I also really love the names of their beers (like Workaholic and McStagger) and I want to try every single brew on their list, you know, for blogging purposes…

I will try to head to each one of these and let y’all know what I think! I just might help you find your new favorite brewery, and maybe even some new beers along the way.

I will also have to let you all know the food situation. As much as I adore my beers, I do get hungry while enjoying them and food is a necessity. It took World of Beer a while to get with the program and have some bar food to feast on. Food is a major plus. Food keeps people trying your new beers, staying longer, and emptying their pockets. It’s good for everyone!

Cheers & cold beers! 🙂
